They have been produced in co-operation with Anders Jönsson, AchivalInkJet in Lund, and in most cases signed by both of us.
It's exciting to explore how photographic images can be printed on various materials. The hand coating of water colour papers, glass, steel or aluminium makes the character of the final print predictable only to some extent.
Because of the elaborate procedure and the uniqueness of the handmade paper or random steel or aluminium plates, these works can be reproduced but one will never be identical with any other. The various media co-variate. That is why they are slightly more expensive than the limited edition prints.
For various reasons, the photos of the pictures here do not do justice to the originals. For instance, glass invariably creates reflections. I recommend that you also take a look at the original paper print version since all the works in this gallery also exist in limited editions on paper; the colours there may, at least in some cases, be more true to the colours in these works.
